Your tax dollars can be designated to support
St. Peter School
You can turn the tax dollars that you already pay into financial aid for our students. One of the most crucial funding sources of our financial aid comes from The Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC). This program allows businesses and individuals to direct their PA State taxes to our students instead of sending those tax dollars to Harrisburg. It is a simple and easy process that will turn the tax dollars that you already owe into scholarships and financial aid for our students. When you sign the pledge form to become an EITC participant, your tax dollars make a difference right here at our school.
How It Works
Businesses or individuals can donate to approved scholarship organizations, designating their contributions to our school. These donations are then used to provide tuition assistance to students who need it in order to access a private school education. In return for their contribution, donors receive a tax credit from the state. For businesses, the credit can be as high as 75% of the donation amount (or 90% if they commit to making the same donation for two consecutive years). Individuals can also participate through a Special Purpose Entity (SPE) and benefit similarly.
Turning the tax dollars you already pay into scholarships for Saint John students is now easier than ever!
We have been working closely with RedefinED Advisors and the Central Pennsylvania Scholarship Fund, who have helped participants through the simple, one-page pledge form process. If you or anyone you know may be interested in having your taxes benefit our students. Please reach out to their local team at 814.419.5505 or email info@redefiningeducation.org.

EITC provides value to taxpayers and schools
The EITC program not only benefits the taxpayer by reducing their tax liability, but also strengthens schools by increasing enrollment, providing financial stability, and allowing more students from diverse backgrounds to afford a private, faith-based education. It’s an impactful way for individuals and businesses to invest in the future of education while receiving a meaningful financial incentive. Find out how to designate your tax dollars through EITC.
